| Description: | To identify these mechanisms, the candidate will use a mouse model for this disease, site specific Salmonella typhimurium mutants and knockout mouse strains lacking specific elements of the murine innate immune system. The project involves a combination of advanced immunological-, cell biological- and immuno-histological methods, fluorescence microscopy and bacterial molecular genetics. |
