Dr. Médéric Diard receives the Postdoctoral Award of the Robert Koch Foundation
The Postdoctoral Award for Microbiology goes to Dr. Médéric Diard in recognition of his work on the pathogenesis and ecology of enterobacteria.
In cooperation with the German Societies for Hygiene and Microbiology, Immunology and Virology, the Robert Koch Foundation annually awards three prizes for outstanding post-doctoral work to the next generation of scientists in these areas.
This year's Postdoctoral Award for Microbiology, endowed with prize money of 5.000 Euro, was conferred in Berlin on November 3rd to Dr. Médéric Diard from the lab of Prof. Wolf-Dietrich Hardt.
The Robert Koch Foundation was founded in 1907 and is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of medical progress. The Foundation promotes basic scientific research in the field of infectious diseases, as well as exemplary projects that address medical and hygienic issues.
